Microphone sensitivity when handfree on 4020

Post by frank »

Well..

Here is a good one: I am on site, and the customer complain about the 4020s being too sensitives. There is a AC that's ON all the time and make a huge noise. I just opened a trouble ticket with NOC, because I don't know what to change under System / UA audio parameters

4035T..?

What's that model, I never heard about it.
Actually, the NOC talked to me about parameters to change in

MGR / System / UA Audio Parameters

or something like that. It's a very sensitive parameter because it affect all UA boards. I will make some test and will let you know. I will also try to get a 4035T free for 'test' and see if it changes anything. Thanks for the trick !

PS: Do you like this idea of forums ?

Not sure what the actual model number (manufacture code) was. That was 4-5 months ago.

Love the forum. Great place to share ideas and ask questions !!

Okay, here is my solution: I had an answer from Alcatel giving me a lot of information about those system parameters that we should not change. So I spoke with the customer that did agree on change the phone location from under the AC to another part of the room, and then it worked ...
