Hi !
Pherhaps a stupid question , but how can I disable all codecs except G711 (PCMA), I've tried to set ipdomains to no compression etc.. The system sends:
v=0
o=OXE 1543229753 1543229753 IN IP4 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
s=abs
c=IN IP4 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
t=0 0
m=audio 32002 RTP/AVP 8 18 4 97
a=sendrecv
a=rtpmap:8 PCMA/8000
a=rtpmap:18 G729/8000
a=fmtp:18 annexb=no
a=rtpmap:4 G723/8000
a=rtpmap:97 telephone-event/8000
a=ptime:20
a=maxptime:40
Thanks in advance ...

How to disable codecs on OxE rel 10.1
Re: How to disable codecs on OxE rel 10.1
in ip/ip domain set coding algorithm without compression also do this for your users in user/tsc ip
Re: How to disable codecs on OxE rel 10.1
Yepp , thanks for your fast reply.
I did that no compression what so ever in ip/ip domain(s), and the spec. user is a DECT.
question: Do I have to reset the pbx or anything else to get rid of the multiple codec offer.

Re: How to disable codecs on OxE rel 10.1
As I remember DECT phones work with G726 or G722 codec not G711.
Re: How to disable codecs on OxE rel 10.1
yes, but will not the INT-IP card make the codec translation. .... ?
Re: How to disable codecs on OxE rel 10.1
Main point:
- IP domain - extra domain codecs - with/without compression
- TG local parameters - IP compression type - default/G711
- System/Other system/Compression parameters - Multi algorithm for compression

Re: How to disable codecs on OxE rel 10.1
Thanks Vad, I did that, and also set the: 'system/Other System Parameters/Sip Parameters/Packetization times per codec' to False,
So now the telco is happy , again, at least for a while
Thanks all for your time and help.
