Random shut offs and battery drain 8128

Post by Confused »

Anyone have a scenario where the phones randomly shut off during a call? Powering the phone back on works, battery seems to be fully charged. ALU is telling us the battery is no good, but we have 75 or so phones out of 300 showing the same issue. Then we have other phones where a freshly charged battery will drain within 2 hours (Not in use, just standby). Wireless connection is good at about -68 RSSI and the phones remain stationary for the most part.

My opinion: It is a battery Problem.
Max. 15-18 months are possible.
All above is luck....
Unfortunately I know that issue from more than one Customer.

Also have seen ALU sometimes sent defective batteries. Of course applies only to new sets. If yours were working fine and after some time as Elliot said, it is battery.

But compare that to a stock battery.. you will not need to keep in on the charger every few hours.
