Can call number, but number not showing on Dialing plan

Post by frank »

Hi all,

I have a network with 10 nodes.
I just created a number in node 1, did an immediate broadcast.
From all other node, I can call this number, but the number does not show in any Translator / Dialing plan of the 9 other nodes..

Any ideas on that on ?

Thx

Hi Franck,

Perhaps that your number was not broadcasted and that the other site can call it thanks to prefix "number of routing" (numéro d'acheminement). Filter by the 3 first digit of your number in the dial plan to see

If you create user 3000 on node 1, on another nodes you can find this number in translator/prefix plan like 3000/Network_number/node_1.
If number 3000 in prefix plan absent, try to find numbers 300 or 30 or 3 (in prefix plan) with prefix meaning "Routing number".

Okay, I forgot to check it out, but actually the guy who created the system before me used routing number in the prefixe to call from node to node. It's ok, but I though that even with a routing number, the network station number would show up on the remote node ?

Bah, no big deal..

As long as the name is in all the phone books, I am happy :-)

Frank.
