Port Mapping

Good Day All,

I have a question regarding port mapping. Is there anyone who has port mapping working with port mobility? I am looking at options for isolating client traffic while allowing port mobility to work. I have tested it once or twice, and the two don't work together (the phone using mobile vlan ends up on the client vlan when port mapping is turned on.

Any thoughts?

Hi ,

in your phone enable -> Use vlan and write the Vlan ID.

in this case the trrafic of the voice will be tagged by the Vlan Id

port mapping allows or drops all traffic at a port. There is no possibilty to allow f.e. specific vlan.
With mobile ports you should create your own policies instead of port mapping.
