Hi guys,
Does anybody knows OXE on his internal DNS server, which kinds of DNS it serves? Type A or SRV?
I'm having an issue with an application which requires SRV on SIP and having doubts.
Thanks

Up to R8.0.1, the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server offers only a DNS A mechanism, which enables the resolution of a name into an IP address.
As of R9.0, the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server offers also a DNS SRV mechanism which enables a resolution of service/name into a group of IP addresses.
Document says above..

It serves both queries whether it is type A or type SRV. But internal
DNS server has some restrictions - it is not full-featured
DNS server. It should serve only
SIP terminals connected to OXE.
