If so, soes anyone have any overview/management/maintenance details on the feature?
Thanks in advance

?? I have take the 4.1 ACSE exam and haven't heard of that, the only new thing is that now websoftphone IP is NOMADIC too. Maybe that is?

Could be.
What about normal softphone (4980)? because you said just websoftphone.

No, not only. On previous versions the Nomadic facility was only possible using 4980. Websoftphone IP was only for on company option or full ip (PCMM2). But now it has the Nomadic option embeded on the ActiveX. That is cool =). No more software to install (apart from the ActiveX).
Anywhere is go i make a VPN to my office and have my phone with me.

Frank/Cav, you can move this thread to Misc.
I found out a bit more about this free seating thing.
It's got nothing to do with OTUC. Its a feature thats new in Rel 7 or 7.1 I think, where users can go to a set and press 'login' (i think) and key in their MCDU and the set takes on their profile. Once they 'logout' the set can be used by someone else. When they log out, calls can be sent to VM or divert etc.. A bit like CCD but definitely not CCD!!!!
Does anyone know anymore about it? I hear it needs a server. Tell me more someone please.

I second that; I'm interested in it as well.
