Connected Standby PCs

We have received a number of Microsoft Surface Studio PCs. These devices use a power scheme called Modern or Connected Standby. Power State S0. These machines are supposed to never truly shut down but are always available and connected to the network. At our site, the connection is dropped and the machine is inaccessable remotely. We have 802.1x (ClearPass) enabled. Is it possible to have these machine remain attached to the network and available for remote control? If so how? I am not the network switch guy, just the PC support tech, looking for some possible solutions. Thank you.
