Hello Guys,
I have a customer that has a 4059EE IP Attendant v 2.0.0 and it is facing a problem.
When receiving a external call through E1, the attendant answers and the call is established, and
when dialing the extension to make the transfer, it displays the wrong extension. for example:
when the attendant wants to transfer to extension 8824, he dials it in the 4059EE keyboard in the
display appears 8882 instead of 8824. The attendant must cancel and dial the number 8824 again in
the keyboard so it appears correctly. This happens for every external incoming call through E1.
I made tests changing the attendant using a 4068IP phone as attendant and doesn´t present this symptom.
I also used an analog external line to simulate the issue of E1, and it is working fine.
I have checked forwards on extensions, phonebooks etc without finding anything unusual.
The issue only happens with external incoming E1 calls.
Here is a sample list of the extensions i get incorrect extensions the first time and there must be more.
When dialing 8824 it displays 8882
When dialing 8896 it displays 8889
When dialing 8715 it displays 8871
When dialing 8894 it displays 8889
When dialing 8851 it displays 8885
Hope somebody can help.
Regards
Enrique

Re: 4059EE First Dial Extension Wrong Number
Hi Haroun,
Both are extensions. When dialing extension 8824 in the 4059EE keyboard it displays and dials 8882 which is another extension. I have to cancel actual call and dial it again in the keyboard so it displays and dial extension 8824 correctly.
Any idea of what is happening?
Thanks

Hi Haroun,
The 8 is part of the extension, no abbreviate numbers. The extensions are 4 digit numbers.
