DIRECTLY from system doc -IF you don't read , the docx will come to you LOL
Overview
Users can put their sets out of service temporarily, then plug them on another system equipment (in another office for instance). After doing so, the set does not need more configuration, its programmation is identical to what it was
A set is taken out of service (decommissioned) by entering a prefix. This allows the set to be locked for all users.

The set can be put back into service from another connector (in another office for example) by its user. In this case, equipment address will be automatically updated by the PBX in the corresponding user information.

According to management, recovery may demand the set's secret code.

Note: The new equipment must be the same type as the old (UA or Z).

Taking the set out of service
Pick up the handset and wait for the tone.

Dial the "Out of/In service" prefix.

You will need to enter the personal code.

The set is out of service. This is shown on sets with a display. You can now disconnect the set.

Putting the set into service
Connect your set to the new connector.

Pick up the handset, a voice guide requests the set number.

Enter the personal code (or not – depending on prior management).

The set is in service. This is shown on sets with a display. You recover all the features you had before.

If you have access to the OXE via cli or 4760/8770, change the shelf, board and circuit numbers from the extension to 255.
Connect the set to the new position and give the extension number and secret code to move the extension to the new hardware address.
Or directly configure the new address for the set under user management.
