Flashing showing up on Screen of Alcatel 4039 Touch phone

Hi All,
Not sure if this is the right place to have this topic. The Alcatel 4039 that I have here is showing FLASHING on the screen. Can anyone enlighten me as to why it is show this. One of the agent was having issue with their phone and was unplugging the phone to try and reset it. I have a feeling that they corrupted it and the FLASHING is the phone trying to set itself up again ?.
