Re: Cloud SIP provider with OXE
Your comment about digital phones is an excellent point. We do have a handful of them, but mostly IP. I may do some more experimenting going straight to the cloud, but I think I now understand the situation as a whole a bit better. I was just thrown off a bit that this wasn't doable, but now I see i...

Re: Cloud SIP provider with OXE
The part that gets me is I have worked with several self-hosted/On-Prem PBXs that connect straight to cloud SIP providers, with no SBC. It's a pain poking all the proper holes in the firewall and building the NAT rules, but once it's done it's done. 3CX is one immediate example that comes to mind, p...

Cloud SIP provider with OXE
I am trying to bring a Twilio trunk online with our OXE. I engaged with the company that supports our system and they came back saying a local SBC is required as this is a cloud provider. Is this entirely accurate? I have dealt with several other systems that have no problem connecting to a cloud-ba...

Re: Caller ID Name Showing Trunk Group Name
I read your mind. hah. I felt it had to be a user configuration issue, so I spent some time at home and compared several extensions and eventually found the different COS, then went down that path and tested it in the office. Success. And, thank you for the motoretrace details. I need to start worki...

Export Users / Import Address Book
I am needing to syncronize address books across multiple systems (3CX and OXE). For 3CX, I am part of the way through reverse engineering their Web API, which I will then write services that run in our datacenter and sync all on-prem systems. So, I think I'm okay with 3CX. However, is there anything...

Re: Caller ID Name Showing Trunk Group Name
I actually just figured it out. This extension is set to different Phone Features COS, for some reason. I just enabled 'Rights Calling name display (CNIP/I-CNAM)' for this COS and the Caller ID Name is now pulling through.

Re: Caller ID Name Showing Trunk Group Name
Actually, I am still lacking on the documentation for our OXE. I may have to wait until I'm able to work with the company who installed and helps maintain our system. But, is running a motorrace fairly straight forward? If so, would someone be able to guide me on the process? I am familiar with linu...

Re: Caller ID Name Showing Trunk Group Name
I will see about getting a motortrace.
As the the set, this is happening on an 8068. But, only on this one. We have some other 8068s that this is not happening to.

Caller ID Name Showing Trunk Group Name
I am trying to finalize an integration between 3CX and our OXE. Thanks to some great help on this forum already the last major hurdle has been taken care of. However, there is one last detail I am hoping to resolve that is somewhat related to Trunk Groups, so I hope I'm in the right section. When a ...

Re: SIP Integration / 302 Moved Temporarily
I changed the signaling to ISDN and that resolved the issue. AA and immediate forwards are now working as one would expect. Thank you very much for your help on this. I without a doubt greatly appreciate it. I am also trying to track down some documentation to better educate myself on things such as...
