No way to check if a member of a hunt groups is logged out (to my knowledge), I would suggest creating group reconnect keys and asking all users to press this key to add them back in.

I have had this 3 times in the past it is a fault from the factory the handsets should not boot out of the factory in SIP mode.

I have found even when getting into the SIP menu on boot up you cannot convert it back to NOE mode.

You will need to RMA the handset back to ALE.
