ATM PORT
The ports are created automatically when the interface is created. (Note: for BBC 555, a single port is defined (ATM0 port).
Depending on the configuration, point to point link or network access, the ATM/SDH port is connected to another ATM/SDH port of a remote PABX (with point to point) or to an ATM switch port (with a network).
The port parameters can be set to:

Atm port address
Port no. between 0 and 5 on the BC155 interface.

Administrative status
The normal position is in service.
The out of service state is compulsory if modifications are required.

Operational status
Port type
Type of ATM port used.

Interface type
User, the port operates in UNI.

Supported bandwidth (x 1Kb/s)
This attribute sets the maximum rate authorized on the link.

Signaling version Nb
This attribute defines the signaling protocol used on the link.

Ilmi version Nb
This attribute defines the local management protocol used on the link. The following choices are available:

LECS address available
This attribute indicates whether the LECS address can be found via the ILMI protocol.

Link Master/Slave
This attribute specifies the role of the port when synchronizing the SDH link:

This indicates whether the port transmits or receives the network clock.
In a point to point link configuration, one end of the link must be set as master and the other in slave mode.
With a connection to an ATM network, the parameter must be set in the modecomplementary to that applied at the other end of the link.

Default address
Port address (for ICD and DCC format).

Max. number of VPCs supported
Max. number of VCCs supported
Create and consult mode only.
This attribute defines the size of the VP field.
Indicates the maximum number of switched and permanent VPCs and VCCs for this port.

Number of VPCs configurated
Number of VCCs configurated
Consult mode only.

155 Mbit Link Variant
This attribute specifies the type of transport network used:

Link Variant
This attribute specifies the type of ATM transmission used (DS3/4B/5B/8B/10B).

Port media type
Indicates the media used.

Port up time
Statistic of the port accessible in consultation.

Number of received cells
Statistic of the port accessible in consultation.

Number of dropped received cells
Statistic of the port accessible in consultation.

Number of transmitted cells
Statistic of the port accessible in consultation.
