Hi i have 38 switches connected to cloud cirrus for management with no issues.
Today i have tried to add 2 new switches, simply attaching switch straight from box to vlan to configure to cirrus.
The switch os6350 is recognised by cirrus and goes through the normal boot up to try and establish the vpn.
It then gets 'stuck' and wont get past vpn configuration.
i have added no new configuration, factory reset again, moved onto another network but still it wont connect to cirrus.
i have tried another new switch and get exactly the same.
Also tried reload working no roll back etc still no joy as well as deleted from cirrus and added again.

6560 cirrus connection
Re: 6560 cirrus connection
Never seen this error. How is the device state in OVC? Maybe the help there gives you a hint.

Re: 6560 cirrus connection
maybe in OVC you will find something in the activation log (open the line in the device catalog).
In help you see one line about your state (not very helpful): VPN Configuring - Device is in the process of configuring a secure transport channel for connecting to the OmniVista Cirrus Server.
Probably you have to open a ticket at ALE. Or you search in the KB in myportal for this issue - sometimes you find there a solution.

Re: 6560 cirrus connection
Hy there, have you found a solution for this issue?
I had the very same issue, after deleting the /switch/cloud directory and rebooted the switch, I have managed to get over this step. Now the vpn is configured and the switch shows "connected to ov" on OVC, however, the Device State is still PreprovisionFailed.
From 12 Switches, I have only with the OS6560 this Problem... All the OS6360 did just fine...

Re: 6560 cirrus connection
Hi I escalated to ALE and they deleted the user from CIRRUS for me. They then upgraded my CIRRUS sw and since i can delete modify switches/aps if they are 'stuck' and not communicating correctly on CIRRUS.
