Assign a Direct Line to a local phone for external calls

Hello everyone

Is there a guide or tutorial on how can I add or assign a direct line so that my phone in the office can have external calls.

Previously it was working before but suddenly a teammate accidentally told the service provider to cut the old direct line he was not aware the a direct line is being used to call externally. Is it easier just to tell the provider to restore the old direct line? no more additional configuration? or apply for a new direct line?
