Continuous Dial tone from Analog Line

Hi Everyone,

I hope this section is the correct area to post my issue. I checked the farm, but could not find the details, so i am posting as new topic.

We have OXE 11.0 in Crystel HW. We have some analog lines which connected with NDDI. recently we are facing a different kind of issue. Like if i seize the analog trunk and dial any number, after listening the numbers instead of the call routing i am getting "continuous dial tone" .
I tested the analog line removing from the PBX, tested with analog phone. Its working fine. But when i try to access the analog trunk line via pbx, after dialing the number its giving continuous dial tone.

Please share your valuable suggestions guys..

Lines work before without problem?
Nothing changed in PBX (number compatible with, number of digits to send, Trunk COS)?
Problem with lines or PBX ports (if change working and working line)?
Problem each time or time to time?

Dear Vad,

Thanks for the replay.
1.There are no changes on the NUMBER COMPATIBLE WITH, NUMBER OF DIGITS TO BE SEND AND TRUNK COS.
2.There is no changes on the programming side,This issue occurred suddenly.
3. All the time the problem is present.

This issue is happening only on the FCT(fixed cellular lines here its called premicell lines). for normal analog landlines its working fine.
I have restarted the board(hard & Soft) and the entire PBX with no luck.

Please share your valuable suggestions.

1 - Type of dialling - pulse or DTMF (may be you use DTMF but provider want pulse)
2 - Dialling not works from any sets - digital, analogue?

Dear Vad,

1.its DTMF dialling. but i will check with pulse also.
2. yes, its not working on both Analog and digital phones.

In this case my suggestion:
1 - change two line - FCT and normal - you will check - problem with PBX board or with provider lines.
2 - if problem with line - size the line, connect analogue phone in parallel and listen - PBX send DTMF numbering or not.

dear Vad,

1. i have changed the FCT lines with normal analog lines. The Normal analog was working, but the FCT was not working still. Then i changed to another free port, the first attempt the FCT call was working, but when i try again the call got failed.
After that, FCT was not working at all..

2. I connected the analog phone as parallel and when i seize the line from PBX then when i dial the numbers i can listen the pbx sending the DTMF numbers.

It seems there's no PBX port issue. but when i connect a analog phone directly to the FCT line, the outgoing has happening,but its working only if dialing mode of the phone as "DTMF. If the dialing mode as "pulse" then if i directly connect also not working.

Please advise..

The problem got resolved by changing the Trunk COS 0 to 1 for the FCT trunk groups.
