Hi
Need some help as I am relatively new to Alcatel.
So basically I have a tagged (vlan 100) EPIPE to a port (eg 1/1/2), and I also wanted to configured an VPLS that is untagged to that same port (1/1/2) as well.
Is it possible to have all untagged traffic goes to the VPLS while VLAN 100 trafffic to my EPIPE?

Re: Alcatel 7210 SAS-M and SAS R, untagged and tagged on same port
Hi,
Did you get to the bottom of this? I just tested the configuration on a SAS-M to confirm and yes, you can. I'm not sure about the SAS-R

Hello,
Probably right now you have epipe with SAP 1/1/2:100. You can try to add to your vpls SAP 1/1/2:* - this should grab everything (unttaged and tagged packets) except packets with vlan 100 which should match your epipe with sap 1/1/2:100.
Port encap: do1q

sap 1/1/2:0 will capture untagged frames only, if thats your requirement. All covered in my super awesome book listed in my sig
