Problem in mtcl ->Password and swinst ->Password

Post by qas raz »

Dear Guys,
I am installing a new system (Crystal-ACT28) with duplicated CPU,s.
The CPU-A and CPU-B working fine. When i make a telnet session by role IP it asks me about mtcl password. But when i make a session on individual CPU.....on CPU-B it doesn,t asks about mtcl password and directly open the session just after entering the login mtcl. And also on the same CPU (Position-B) the swinst password is swinst. But the default password is (*********). On other end the CPU-A is working fine.
How i can manage these password.
please help.

You could change the passwords if you know the root password, with 'passwd mtcl/swinst'.
Or stop the telephony on B callserver and make a mastercopy.
If that doesn't help, reinstall the software and then perform the mastercopy.

the ftp password is same as mtcl passwd
Under root (su) change the mtcl passwd by typing
passwd mtcl
it will give you hand to change mtcl passwd
or directly sudo mtcl passwd
