Yes. First you create the bridge file and then go to virsh and define it (point 4.3)

For IOU setup I recommend following link:
http://www.routereflector.com/2014/04/i ... y-release/

To get IOU speaking to the rest you also need to change the gns3server IP binding from 127.0.0.1. I picked my LAN IP.
I will try to create a larger multivendor topology with at least Cisco and ALU.
Also nice to test multicast topologies as Cisco routers can join multicast from CLI.
Havent found any similar way to do this in the SROS.

But I'm struggeling.
I can drag and drop vSR's and boot them, but I'm not getting any sort of connectivity between the devices.
What have I missed here?
I have tried to connect all 6 interfaces (CPM -> 1/1/5) no connectivity at all. :shock:
I am using 6 E1000 NIC's on the QEMU VM, and thats about all settings I can provide.
Did your devices interconnect out-of-the-box?

####
EDIT;
After I saved the project from the start, I get IP connectivity.

Time to set my laptop on a serious cpu and memory test :)

NextStep will be to install GNS3 in the CentOS environment to do the same type of setup there.

Yes. I did not save the project for the multi-vendor topology I mentioned before.

Thanks!

Btw, how did you store the configuration for the vSR's?
Mine is not stored in the disk-image under \projects\<projectname>\qemu\vm-x\hda_disk.qcow2

This file is not updated with admin save or GNS3 save.
I tried to export configs, but only IOS configs are exported.

Reloading the vSR from CLI;

...
Executed 170 lines in 0.8 seconds from file cf3:\config.cfg

Reloading the vSR via shutdown on the VM;
Executed 0 lines in 0.0 seconds from file cf3:\config.cfg

Any tips?

Checked on Win7 and Xubuntu and for some reason config save works on Linux and doesn't on Windows. No idea why...

Perhaps you could shoot a question as a possible bug on gns3 community?

I dont have a running Ubuntu environment, and my CentOS environment is a bit tricky to get GNS3 running.

Hi,
This link will take you directly to Product Download page:
https://download-emea.support.alcatel-l ... r_id=76472

Of course it's available only for registered users but I'm not sure what type of access is required.
