SNMP ifLastChange information not maintained?

Post by rob »

I need to SNMMPGET ifLastChange information from a OmniSwitch 6400-U24 using the OID's 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.9.x. However these objects does not seem to be maintained. Is there another OID that has the same information? Other suggestions?

I also noted that ifType 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.3.x and ifOperStatus 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8.x also seems to not be maintained on this device, so my guess is that I can find equal information elsewhere in the MIB? I would look for them myself but i have very limited access to the environment I'm working on, thats why I'm asking here.

Any help is greately appreciated!

I found some other posts on the forum regarding this OID object and they seem to get data in their responses. My ifLastChange response is decimal 129, which I assumed was the 8-bit 1-complement for -1 and therefore marking an unmaintaned OID.

Is there a configuration option that need to be set for these objects in IF-MIB to be activated?
