Re: outgoing call number identification
TG NPD selector - you can find used NPD.
Translator/ Ext.numb plan /Numbering plan description - in NPD (used in TG) you can authorize "personal calling number use".
And last - in user parameters "Use personal calling number=true/false" and "Personal calling number" - you can manage personal number if Use personal calling number=true.
Translator/ Ext.numb plan /Numbering plan description - in NPD (used in TG) you can authorize "personal calling number use".
And last - in user parameters "Use personal calling number=true/false" and "Personal calling number" - you can manage personal number if Use personal calling number=true.
Re: outgoing call number identification
Thank you for respone.
I think I have another version of MGR app,
I can not find NPD in TrunkGroup
There is no Ext.numb plan in Translator category.

Re: outgoing call number identification
Correction for Cavagnaro - "compatible with" is for logical discriminator under entity.
For Trunk Group NPD selector you must keep on descending hierachy under trunk group and you will see "Trunk Group NPD Selector" and within there, you will see which NPD has been assigned to the TG;
For Trunk Group NPD selector you must keep on descending hierachy under trunk group and you will see "Trunk Group NPD Selector" and within there, you will see which NPD has been assigned to the TG;
Code: Select all
TRUNK GROUP NPD SELECTOR
This object allows the TRUNK GROUP to select a NUMBERING PLAN DESCRIPTION (NPD) depending on the type of numbering plan (NPI/TON).
Management Mode
This attribute concerns the mgt mode of the Information Elements of byte 3 NPI and TON:
Automatic: manages automatically according to the trunk group type the corresponding elements between NPI/TON and the public/private NUMBERING PLAN DESCRIPTION:
In this mode therefore, none of the numbering plan description numbers is managed in this object.
Normal: normal mode is used to manage the NPI/TON for an outgoing call (Byte 3 calling and called):
Only the numbers of the public and private numbering plan description (NPD) are managed (see attributes public and private Numbering Plan Description (NPD) Nos. in this object).
The numbering plan description (NPD) numbers are managed automatically according to the NPI/TON received.
Expert: Same as normal mode. In addition, this mode is used to manage manually a specific NUMBERING PLAN DESCRIPTOR (NPD) according to the NPI/TON received:
The numbers of the public and private numbering plan description (NPD) are managed (see attributes public and private Numbering Plan Description (NPD) Nos. in this object).
The numbers of the numbering plan description (NPD) according to the NPI/TON received are managed (See all attributes num. plan. ID.....NPD No. in this object).

Re: outgoing call number identification
If we say about mgr. "mgr -l GEA"
Go to translator - you will see "external numbering plan".
Go to trunk groups/ go down hierarchy - you will see "trunk group NPD selector".
Or your system release before 3.

Re: outgoing call number identification
Usually identification will be Installation number (from user Entity) + User number (from DDI translation).
Send or not caller Id - you can manage in user Entity or user can use "secret Id" prefix.
Prefix *78 and 0 - trunk group seizure or ARS? what type of your TG.
If you have ISDN connection - use "t3" command - you will see send or not your PBX calling number and so on.
