mgr -nodico -X <file>

Post by tincho.rn »

Hi everybody. I read a post (of caurse here :wink: ) that gives an example to change the Personal Calling Number using : mgr -nodico -X <file>; where "file" contains the information to change in the data base. I want to know if someone can teach me how to change the PIN number of a user using this command. Thanks in advance.

mgr -nodico -X <file>

The syntaxe is:

SET Subscriber "1": "3000"
{
PIN = {"54321","TRUE","PIN_Category","2"}
}

3000 is the mcdu of the set; 54321 is the new pin number; 2 is the "PIN group number"

Hey thats a great thing !

Just made a time-steered Forwarding every Day for my Hotline Number (analog phone) with this instruction, and cfgCron.

Works perfectly !

To get the correct codes, just start mgr -log xxxx (filename),than mgr writes your logfile, do your changes in mgr, read your xxxx Logfile in cd /usr3/mao.

You can direct use this Logfile to send it via mgr -nodico -X xxxx

mgr macro functionallity

Post by Egidio »

Hi,
I have finally come to the right place!

Up to now I allways had to use a macro in Teraterm to get things like this automated. Now I learn that mgr has a "macro" functionallity also.

mgr -log filename to record and
mgr -nodico -X fielname to playback

Thanks for sharing your knowledge

What actually do you want to export?

What I wrote about was the ability to automate processes, which you would otherwise have to do manually.

Did you try the commands mentioned in my posting above?

I am glad to help, if I can.

Why don't you activate 4760i and install it on your PC? mgr/system/other system parameters/system parameters/use of 4760i

Install the client from https://oxe.ip/nmc/client/

If you upgrade your OXE you must also update the client

Then you can manage your OXE using a GUI and you can export anything you want to text files. :D
