Omnipcx Office WBM

Post by siptech »

Hello,

I have a new Compact edition with CPU-4 and (I think R7 software). I am unable to login via WBM as I keep getting a 503 error when trying to login to https://192.168.92.246/login/index.html.

I have also tried just 192.168.92.246 and 192.169.92.246:81 with no avail. I have tried both http and https. When using ping I can see that the lan light is flashing so I am sure this is the right IP.

I would prefer to use WBM as I have a mac. Can all admin be done via WBM or do I need OCM? Where can I get OCM r7? I am not a business partner and the dealer does not want to give it to me.

This is a new unused OMNIPCX.

Thanks!

I also tried https://192.168.92.246/admin

The 4028 phone gets to downloading config then hangs.

This can have several causes. I would think that the 4028 is from the new 1000Mb range and your PBX firmware should be upgraded to the latest available on ABPS or simply your IP configuration is wrong (or you have some clocked TCP ports on local ethernet or VPN).

In all cases your provider should solve the problem. Ask for proffessional support.

WBM won't help you. On OXO WBM is used only for maintenance and boot informations, or for internet services config --->not for voice service config. For that you need OMC.
It is clear from your posts that you don't have technical training or knowledge on OXO, that't why I told that you that you should ask for a certified engineer to solve your problems.

I thought this form was for " IF YOU ARE NOT TECHNICALLY TRAINED ON THOSE PBX, PLEASE POST IN ONE OF THOSE FORUMS". Why not just close this entire form and tell everyone to seek a dealer. I am trained in Avaya and Siemens, I know PBX systems. Just not Alcatel.

TOT3KOPF is right that's he's tellin you that "WBM won't help you. On OXO WBM is used only for maintenance and boot informations, or for internet services config --->not for voice service config. He's more knowledgeable on Alcatel Lucent than you. Try to read your replies man!

Okay, I understand I need OCM. Where do I get this? There is no dealer in my area and I am not a business partner.
