ARS config

Post by snncy »

Hi, we've got a PRI Line (T2) with 30b channels. We also have 4 analog line (APA4) which is connectted to media gateway and with ARS config we're making long-distance calls on APA4 lines.

I'd like change this behavior for a special subscriber, our fax line is a subscriber but could be called from outside with DID. But for this line, long-distance calls should not be over media gateway (APA4), but over T2.

On ARS configuration I could not figure out how to define differen routes for subscriber base.

Thank in advance.

You have to use different Entity`s for each subscriber.

You should be able to do this using traffic sharing/barring

You probably now have an ARS entry which assigns all long-distance calls to the APA lines.
Just add the T2 as well to this table.

Assign the proper rights to the FAXport, and verify the COS on the trunks.

If setup properly, an outgoing fax will be routed through the APA board. Since this is not allowed (Traffic Sharing), it will try to use the second access in list, which is the T2 as you want,
