Request for Assistance with Console Issues in OmniPCX Enterprise Management

Dear Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing to seek assistance regarding an issue we've been encountering with our OmniPCX Enterprise Management system.

The issue arises occasionally after power downs when our attendant operators attempt to open their consoles. Some consoles do not function properly, prompting our IT team to log in to the PBX server via the web interface of OmniPCX Enterprise Management.

To resolve this issue, we've been clearing the Terminal Ethernet Address section and leaving it empty, which typically restores functionality to the affected consoles. However, there have been instances where this solution did not work, necessitating a restart of the entire PBX server, impacting all phones connected to it.

We're seeking guidance on two specific matters:

Is there a command or syntax available within OmniPCX Enterprise Management that allows us to restart only one console, such as an operator's console? We're looking to avoid the need for bulk restarts whenever possible to minimize disruptions.

Could you please provide insight into the source of the Terminal Ethernet Address? We're uncertain whether it is derived from the PC's MAC address or generated from another source. Understanding this would enable us to manually assign the address if necessary and troubleshoot more effectively.

Any assistance or guidance you can provide regarding these matters would be greatly appreciated. If additional information is needed from our end, please don't hesitate to reach out.

to restart a set or console use (not valid for sip device) only for noe
termstat d DN (OR termstat n N ) where DN IS DIRECTORY Number ( N is the equipment number for this set)
and choose option 5
what kind of console do you have ? ip , softphone emul ,pac mac etc
