Customermized MOH on R12.x

Hey all,

It has been a LONG time since I played with customized MOH (whitout the help for the Audio Station).
Could someone remind me where to upload my files (I used numbers to name them as I remember they need to match the dynamic voice guides) and how to activate them ?

Or am I the only one doing this ?

Frank, got to be in the right format and needs to be named flashmoh did it a couple of months ago and works a treat

We sometimes just insert MOH in usual VG project (f.e. like VG 71, 72...) and declare VG number in Entity parameters.

Oldboy. I got plenty of files I did in the right format a long time ago.
Named 700, 701, 702, 703... I remember I had to upload them, rename them 700^ to make them active, I just never took any notes. And since it has been so long, I can't remember how I used to do it. Can you share the steps ?

looks like you‘re talking about dynamic voice guide procedure...

transfer the files with ftp to

after this

mgr/system/dynamic voice guides/import new files in database

(assuming that you’ve created a voice guide assignment to a hardware allready)
then you have to select the file for upload to the assigned hardware

mgr/system/dynamic voice guides/vg message number/voice guide files

if you have a ccd in oxe, you can use also ccs application for the complete procedure.

Very quick copy paste from my notes....

Custom music file creation


1. Create Dyn. VG project .VPR (Remember .wav file have to be in same lib as .VPR)
2. Import .wav
3. Change type to ADPCM Static message
4. Compile
5. Use in Static VG slot


NB: Delete the .zip extension name. Could not upload it....
