There is no compatibility between IP phones 40X8 and 80X8s in the same OXE

Post by LuisaLozanoT »

I have an OXE in version l1.301.40.a, most IP phones are 40X8 models, we are migrating to 80X8, every time a phone goes from 40X8 to 80X8 or vice versa; 80X8 phones are restarted and left with no tftp response message, it is necessary to make several steps for the phones to reconnect. Could it be that the OXE does not support having both models?

Of course they can coexist, how are you doing the change? You need to change the set type on mgr first before physically changing the set.
