Busy Tone Detection setting doesn't work

Post by guz »

I have set the busy tone detection configuration by marking "Busy Tone Detection" at External Line>List of Access>Analogue Details>'BTD'.

But it doesn't work. Is there any configuration that I missed?

Thanks.

You have to configure the parameters for busy tone in noteworthy addresses as they are configured by your public operator in order to work.

You have to change the MinBusySeq from 3 to 5 in the Debug labels if you want to use the Busy Tone Detection. Steve explained in another post...

Hi all,

I'm so sorry for being too late replying this post. I am really sorry.
I have change MinBusySeq to 7,6,5,4,3, but it still doesn't work. After searching in the other forum, I found that we have to change BTDMaxWOff => 21 00 BTDMaxWOn => 17 00 BTDMinWOff => 14 00 BTDMinWOn => 0A 00 BuTSiDtPar => modify the 5th byte to 05 (xx xx xx xx 05 xx xx ...) MinBusySeq. It didn't work.

What do you think? Do anyone of you know what the meaning of parameter BTDMaxWOff, BTDMaxWOn, BTDMinWOff, BTDMinWOn, BuTSiDtPar?
Or maybe you have a documentation about how to set those parameters?

Thanks,

Guz

That parameters are for busy tone detection (cadence). Their values depends on the public pbx to which is connected your pbx. In my country public pbx's are Siemmens or Ericsson.

Elkiwi,

Would you please to share the value of your configuration in parameters BTDMaxWOff, BTDMaxWOn, BTDMinWOff, BTDMinWOn, BuTSiDtPar for Siemens public PBX? My country uses Siemens too. So, may I try to configure my OXO using the values of yours? It will helpful so much.

Hi Guz

For Ericsson (Frecuency: 450 ± 15 Hz. Cadence : 200 ON - 200 OFF - 200 ON - 600 OFF (ms))

Values are:
BTDMinWOff 17
BTDMinWOn 0D
BTDMaxWOff 25
BTDMaxWOn 4D
MinBusySeq 05
BuTSiDtPar xx xx xx xx 05 00

For Siemens (Frecuency: 450 H Cadence : 250 ON - 250 OFF (ms))

Values are:
BTDMinWOff 1E
BTDMinWOn 14
BTDMaxWOff 2B
BTDMaxWOn 21
MinBusySeq 05
BuTSiDtPar xx xx xx xx 05 00

Hi elkiwi,

Actually my OXO is connected to Siemens public operator. Then I configured my OXO with all parameters you provide me several days ago. But it didn't work. Then I tried to apply the parameters for Ericsson, but it also didn't work.

Is there any explanation about the relation of frequency n cadence with the values of those parameters. I mean how to calculate those values if we want to configure with the different frequency or cadence.

Thanks n regards,

Guz
