Using PM5, when I access my Subscribers/Basestations List, I am confronted with a subscriber in the list that shows a physical address of XX-XXX-XX. The "delete" button is not available, and whenever I try to view the details and/or modify, I get error messages. Viewing the transfer log, I get the following kind of responses:
25/05/2007 14:45:58 : Warning - Invalid value received for Subscriber XX-XXX-XX : Field Terminal Type
25/05/2007 14:45:58 : Warning - Invalid value received for Subscriber XX-XXX-XX : Field Terminal Type
25/05/2007 14:45:58 : Online save ERROR: subscriber metering on subscriber - XX-XXX-XX - Insufficient Right
25/05/2007 14:45:58 : Online save ERROR: subscriber dynamic routing on subscriber - XX-XXX-XX - PCX Internal Error
25/05/2007 14:45:58 : Online save ERROR: subscriber misc on subscriber - XX-XXX-XX - Insufficient Right
This 'blank' subscriber has been in the list for a while now, and I think it may be causing other (major) problems.
When I click on ANY subscriber (a GOOD subscriber) to try and set the "Diversion" for them, I am given this error:
25/05/2007 14:48:00 : Warning - Invalid value received for Subscriber XX-XXX-XX : Field Terminal Type
Does anyone know what has gone wrong here? I am really hoping that there is some way to rid our system of this subscriber alltogether!

Re: PM5 XX-XXX-XX Subscriber errror!!
For anyone that encounters this error... LOLA was NOT necessary. A cold reset did the trick (albeit I had to of course reenter all of my configuration info, but this DID in fact solve the problem)

Re: PM5 XX-XXX-XX Subscriber errror!!
Think you have a buggy sw version. Try updating to the newest release of your version.. (or did you do this already?)

Hey there henk... care to give me a step-by-step to updating to the newest release of my version? I'm not too sure how to go about doing this?

Re: PM5 XX-XXX-XX Subscriber errror!!
You have a built in tool under the toolbox on the PM5/OMC software. It is called software download
Download the latest version of your relevant level, then unzip it to a folder (within this folder, you will get another folder called downloadingitems
Go into the software download, then select the destination file on the top left (this is the folder BEFORE downloadingitems) so that OK is then highlighted instead of greyed out.
Then select the targert country version (bottom left) and then tick the relevant boxes (data saving, ignore data saving errors, RAS if they have it, ACD if they have it. Always tick internet services, as this enables to configure integrated DHCP)
Then sleect if you want it to upgrade after disconnecting or at a certain time and date. Then click on start.

Re: PM5 XX-XXX-XX Subscriber errror!!
Hi there Wibble_2007...
Thanks very much! I'm a bit confused here! In PM5, I click on Tools, then on Software Download. I enter the password (the default one) pbxk**** to get into the "PM5 - Software Download" screen.
I can not do anything in this screen, although I see a list of "Downloadable Item" "PCX Vesrion", "Version Delivery" and "Action". There are entries both in downloadable item and PCX version. Version delivery is empty and under action, for each entry, it is "no install".
Everything else in the screen is greyed out.
---------------------
If I have understood you correctly, then I am meant to "download the latest version of my relevant level and unzip it to a folder" PRIOR to even opening PM5. If this is correct, can you tell me how I would go about getting this software? In other words, what website can I download the software from, and how can I be 100% sure that it is the right one for my system?
Many thanks!
Eric

Re: PM5 XX-XXX-XX Subscriber errror!!
When using PM5, first login into the Pbx. The entries should become visible.

Re: PM5 XX-XXX-XX Subscriber errror!!
When I log in to the PBX, and then click on "PM5 - Software Download" it then prompts me straight away to "Close Database". So I have no choice but to close it.
Then it prompts me for "SW Downloading Login", where I enter the default "pbxk..." password. Then I see it as stated in my last post?

Re: PM5 XX-XXX-XX Subscriber errror!!
Had this issue recently and cold reset was necessary. if you pull the affected board and then remove from the system on PM5/OMC. Once the board has been removed from the system plugged the board back in and log onto the system and you will find that XX-XXX-XX has been replaced with the correct physical address.
