Alcatel-Lucent SA says it is in talks to sell its business that deals with corporate clients to China Huaxin for around 268 million euros ($362 million).
The business, known as Enterprise, has nearly 3,000 employees. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter.

Keeping in mind that Unify has bought Siemens Enterprise division from Siemens the future does not look bright for OXE/OXO/OTUC etc in case Unify would buy it.tot3nkopf wrote:Unify is also one of the contenders.

Doesn't seems that Unify has bigger chances than Huaxin. I would say that too officially announced ALU, guess that everything is going to final step.

At least they do not buy it to kill a competitor as it would be in a Unify's case.

Alcatel guys are kinda worried yet. Chinese companies are not very well known for good employee environments

From April 1, 2015, the corporate name of each Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise legal entity will change. This is the next transformation step of the Enterprise business spin-off from the Alcatel-Lucent group, which became effective October 1, 2014.
These planned name changes do not affect the terms and conditions of our existing contracts nor our existing business relationships between our respective companies.
Although each local entity’s corporate name is changing, the “Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise” brand and logo will be used in a manner consistent with our current use, as well as the “@alcatel-lucent.com” e-mail address for Enterprise employees.
