The CS-2 are not faulty, sometime after a shelf rev2/3 power supply swap they do not boot up straight away so you need to keep the CS2 board disconnected from the shelf and from past experiences it can take from 1 hr upto the next day for the board to start working again.

I had this problem too in a new installation, I changed 4 (yes four) CS-2, all with the same problem (when you disconnect the cabinet power the CS-2 board die and nevermore switch on again). Now with the 5th CS-2 the OXE is working and I simulated the problem that not appeared So I think that is a board problem and not a cabinet problem.

Do You mean that You got the same problem during testing: disconnect power and CS-2 die? Can You provide more detail info? What mean disconnect power - just electricity dissapearing or need to unpug power cord from shelf ? How to overcome issue? Can You provide CS-2 versions which has issue?

The problem appeared after electricity fault, without removing the source cable, there is no relationship with source cable switch. The CS-2 received from ALU switch on normally but after a shutdown and a source changing the CS-2 died, no led blinks and no serial port log, only integrated switch working. I received a list of board versions with this issue, see below:

3EH73086ABJB 08
3EH73086ABJB 09
3EH73086ABJB 10
3EH73086ABJB 11

The last CS-2 received is working now and is 3EH73086ABJB 13 version.

Nothing new. I have published the same info 1 year ago. My post dated Tue Jan 15, 2013 8:59 pm
It's good to know that issue doesn't reappeared again.

I don't understand how I am receiving today versions 10 and 11 like new boards. In a new installation I had the same issue four times and only after this I received a board with version greater than the problem versions list.
