HELP CONFIGURE SWITC FOR NAGIOS

Hello everyone,
I need to implement Nagios into my infrastructure but I don't understand how I can configure the switch to send the trap to Nagios and Nagios to receive the trap from the Alcatel switch.
Can anyone help me with the configuration???

I just need to configure cpu trap and temperature trap.

Hi,
per default all the traps are enabled. You only need to configure your nagios as snmp station.
I prefer to use snmp v3 with an user. Here an example:


aaa authentication snmp local
user SNMPV3 password SNMPV3PW read-write all sha+des
snmp station 10.10.254.1 SNMPV3 v3 enable

also in Nagios you need snmp v3 and the same user.
