FRI APR 23 19:07:01 : CSM-CHASSIS (103) info message:
+++ WARNING 13: Synchronization commands will not be accepted due to low flash
+++ space systemwide. Remove unwanted files from Primary before contining
ERROR : Commands will not be accepted due to low flash . Remove unwanted files

FRI APR 23 19:07:04 : CSM-CHASSIS (103) info message:
+++ WARNING 13: Synchronization commands will not be accepted due to low flash
+++ space systemwide. Remove unwanted files from Primary before contining
ERROR : Commands will not be accepted due to low flash . Remove unwanted files

FRI APR 23 19:07:11 : CSM-CHASSIS (103) info message:
+++ WARNING 13: Synchronization commands will not be accepted due to low flash

Victor,

I would suggest to login the system, and delete the Crash.pmd and *.log files from the main folder.
This should clear some space. If you really need those files, simply ftp them to your computer first for later use.

Thanks for the quick respond.
So you mean it doesn't affect the operation of a switch whenever they have a files like *.pmd and *.log?

PMD files are crashlog that you could send to the technical support
LOG files are only logs

I would like to clarify on Franks post.

- You may delete any log file except the "swlog1.log" and "swlog2.log"
- Those two files are needed for system logging and will always be re-created (with the size of 64k each)
- You can delete Crash.pmd / Memmon.dmp if you don't want to open a SR with Alcatel-Lucent

Hope that helps.

Any way to extract Crash.pmd in Kernel or Miniboot mode?
Is there a link to the userguide for Kernel Mode or Miniboot mode for the switches?

with the correct miniboot (from 6.4.3....) you will be able to mount usb.
[Miniboot]-> sysUsbSetAdminState 1

also you can use common commands:
[Miniboot]-> cd "uflash/"
[Miniboot]->pwd
[Miniboot]-> ls
[Miniboot]-> cp “/flash/*.pmd“,“/uflash/“ (maybe "/flash/uflash/" is the correct path - I'm not sure"

there is no document from Alcatel...
