How to analyze possibly faulty modules ?

Hello.
How to analyze or run diagnostics for some modules that remain unpowered and/or do not boot ?
Maybe broken, can be anything. Any special code ? Procedure ?

I have no clue :-/ i guess that knowledge is only at the repair center/factory
