How to configure a call progres tone

Postby lmartinez » Thu Dec 03, 2009 6:08 pm

Hi Folks,

Maybe this a newby question, but I'm stock with something that maybe it's easy.

I had an installation with analog trunks connected to a gsm gateway, when an user call to a cell phone there is a delay about 15 seg when the user finished dialing the numer. I tested connecting directly to the gsm gateway and still have the delay (15 seg). Well you may said it's the gsm gateway but I need something to cheat the user.

I need to put a progress tone during that silence, any ideas.

Regards,

Ermm, analog GSM works in that way, if you want immediate dialing you will need digital GSM but those are very expensive. OXE already sent the dialing progress and if you check the trunk it will be as B so who may need to send back a fake ringback will the GSM box...
