Re: We need a map bigger than 2000x2000 pixels
You cannot change the map size at this time. To "fit" more you need to utilize the group function to split the NE's into separate maps.

Re: 7705 SAR-18 Router OS upgrade - do i need to upgrade SAM as well??
For that big a jump in major releases you will most definitely need to upgrade your SAM to support the newer software release for the SAR. SAM 10 does not recognize SAR R8 software.

Re: how to rate-limit at the network IP interface egress
Based on this example: CE--->SAP--->Svc--->SDP--->Net Port--->P--->PE--->CE Are asking about rate limiting the traffic coming into the PE over a SAP? If so then you rate limit via the sap-ingress policy. SAP-egress controls traffic from the PE back out the SAP to the CE router. If you are trying to ...

Re: GRE tunnel configuration
You do not need an ISA card to create a GRE tunnel for a SDP. Here is an example of configuring the SDP over GRE: configure service sdp <sdp-id> create far-end x.x.x.x/x no shutdown exit Then you will type in show service sdp and the list will show you the Delivery Method which will say GRE. The def...

Which logs? You looking to get log 99 or 100 or one you created yourself? If it one you created youraelf , then you will need to ftp or scp from the file command in whichever cf card it is on. You best bet is to run filezilla in server on your PC, then ftp from router to your PC, unless your router ...

Re: ECMP over LDP
ECMP is a routing feature, not a MPLS feature. You can have multiple routes for OSPF or ISIS protection. But LDP won't ever use that. LDP is hop by hop MPLS, versus RSVP which uses an entire path from the beginning with protection features like secondary paths and/or FRR. LDP only cares about gettin...

Re: persistentIndexFailure node 7750
When the router boots, does it load a config at all? It sounds like your primary-image pointer. In the bof is set incorrectly, or you did not have persistence turned on during the upgrade. Persistence should always be on in the bof as that creates a security check file (.ndx file on cf3) that it run...
