Converting current digital PBX to IP or branch out
Hi, We currently have the OmniPCX Office digital PBX and will potentially be looking to add additional remote offices. Is there a way to attach the remote offices to our current PBX by adding some form of breakout which will allow the addition of either IP phones or a smaller PBX which will connect ...

Re: Front LED error lights
Hi,
Im talking about the front of the PBX, there are various LED indicators which obviously tell you there's either an error or something.

Front LED error lights
Hi, Our PBX had an issue a few weeks ago and it was the first time I noticed the front LED screen had turned red. It was due to the exchange but now the busy LED has also turned red. We never really needed 100 pair at the most all we needed was 25 - I think that's why they wi...

Re: How many wires does the Alcatel Omni Office PBX system n
Uses 2 as any other. The wiring map is up to you...depends on your MDF. Just remove it and do it from scratch if you are having so many issues. Thanks for the reply, so what your saying is its not specific to pin numbers? As long as both sides use the same numbers it fine and should work? As I read...

How many wires does the Alcatel Omni Office PBX system need?
Hi guys, We have 2 cabs linked using 100 pair voice cable, the only problem is that when it was installed (some time ago) the engineer didn't test the lines and I guess just assumed they worked. Since then I have had to put some extensions into the second unit and it seems a bit hit and miss which l...
