TAPI 2.1 Server configuration on Windows 2008 32 bit

Hello all There,

today I hav a problem.

I�ve installed the SPI for Microsoft TAPI on a windows 2k8 machine.

folowig happend after the installation:

The Alcatel-Lucent TAPI Service Provider is NOT listed in the insatlled Software from windows

secound: In Telephone and modem option advanced the ALU TAPI is listet and configure able

third:

In The System managment console i couldn�t find the Telefonie Configuration ( there, where i can configure tapi lines to the user on windows 2k or 2k3 server )

Anybody an idea, where i can find the settings? I something missing on the windows installation?

connect x-lite behind NAT to OXE

Hi, I have a problem. I create a SIP user on OXE, when the SIP client (x-lite) connect to the CS directly via router all the call flows correctly. But when i put the SIP client behind the NAT, the voice flow is not working (but the signalling was OK, because it rings). Does anyone having the same problems?

UA 4010 with Z-adaptor problems

Hi.

I've got a 4010 with a Z-adaptor and an analog set behind it.

Problem: 1 out of 10 calls you make with the analog set looses a zero in the beginning of the number. For example if you dial 0 for external call and 076xxxxx, it dials 076xxxxx when it should dial 0076xxxxx. I've tried changin first the 4010, then the analog set and last the adaptor. I still get the same error. The problem does not appear if dial from the 4010 set. I've analysed what numbers the analog set sends with analyser parallell with analog set, and it sends correct numbers. Trace in CPU shows that it looses a zero.

OXE R9.1 - i160516c. The set is behind a ACT-10 on RT2 link. CPU is Appliance.

What can be wrong?

Attendant 4068 releases the calls

Hi there

I've configured an attendant set win an IPTouch 4068. The calls ring at this set correctly, the operator can do the calls correctly, systems day/night/service1/service2 work ok.
The issue always happens when I try to tranfer a call e I want to cancel it.
I receive a call at the 4068, when I dial the extension and press ring, the extension rings and the destinations answer. Talking to the extension with external call on hold, I press cancel key to come back to external call, it works ok.
But when I receive a call at the 4068, I dial the extension and press ring, the extension rings and the destinations answer. Talking to the extension with external call on hold, the extension releases the call, I press cancel at the 4068 to come back to external call, sometimes the call desappears. Who calls to the OXE listens to the music on hold but 4068 isn't shown the call.
I've tried to change release by attendant from false to true at System --> go down --> other system parameters --> go down --> attendant parameters but the issue remains.
I don't know if I'm forgeting something. When the issue happens console port shows this error:

Hi,

I've an Ominivista 4760i. I want to change the music on hold and the music on busy or when the corporation is closed.

How can I do that ?
I've tried in my browser with http://cpu_IP:81, It doesn't work. And I don't have AFU and Alcaltel audio station.

I've tried to find the music file on FTP but, there are not in classical format.

Setting up voicemail on OmniPCX v5

New user - just registered today... Hoping I've posted this question in the correct forum.

Question concerns how to set up voicemail for OmniPCX (medium) using OMC510/14.1c, ie a step-by-step guide for a computer-literate user, though not a telephony engineer.

Specifically, we're a SOHO setup in Ireland with a single ISDN line, an Advanced Reflexes & Premium Reflexes plus four DECTmobile 200; hunting groups allow the business no. to ring on some sets & the home no. to ring on some (of which two are exclusively "home", the others shared). I had to remove the DECT unit from the Premium Reflexes set, so that it's now on a regular RJ11; it had voicemail & forward-to-mobile set up but lost these during the conversion from DECT (see para 2...). Further, in attempting to resolve, I managed to lose the mailbox function on the "home" Advanced set.

Assuming that's not TMI, can I elicit some help in starting from scratch to rebuild voicemail & forward-to-mobile on both the home & business phones?

Hello,
I work an alcatel OXE R9.1.
I would like to modifiy the internal number of aroud 100 users in order to add 2 digits to the number.
For example, 65100 would be 1065100.
Is it another way to do it without delete the 65100 then create it 1065100 ?
And of course, do it for all my users in one time?

I want to trunk a New alcaltel switch (omniswitch 6850 u24x) to an exisiting cisco edge switch(Catalyst 2960-48).I would be trunking through a cross over cable.when connecting this new alcatel switch to the exisiting cisco edge switch what configuration changes needs to be done on the alcatel switch to make the trunking work?The cisco switch is configured for pvst and vtp mode transparent.so advice on what changes needs to be done on alcatel switch to make this trunking work.Further what is the respective commands on alcatel for configuring for pvst and vtp mode transparent.

Further what is the command for clearing config on a alcatel switch?

I have a customer that the crystal is divided in two diferent places.half selfs are in one place and half to the other and they are connected with fiber switch.untill now i dint had problem cause i had only digital and analog reflexes.Now the customer wants to put ip users + softphones in both places and the networks are in a different domains.

how can i manage that?is it possible?

ISDN call route to AA - with out called number

Hi all,,

This is strange for me, but am trying to find solution, because its working with nortel existing pabx. now we are replacing alcatel oxe.

OXE R.9.1, ISDN-T2 is working..

when i connect ISDN signalling is sync and i can make outgoing calls, but for in coming call routing am not receiving the called number, is there anyway i can route the calls to AA with out called party number,

Trunk group AA is true..

Normally i do route the calls in DID translator, but here case is no called number, as u can see below my mobile number as a calling number...
