EXTERNAL VOICE MAIL
The External Voice Mail object is used to define the access to the unified messaging via the SIP gateway (direct and record mode). The External Voice Mail must be created on the local node at the SIP gateway (see SIP/SIP GATEWAY object). When an external voice mail is created, the following are automatically created and broadcast on the network:

Voice Mail Dir.No.
Directory number used to call the voice mail service. It is managed in the subscription of the voice mailbox users (USERS/VOICE MAIL DIRECTORY NUMBER).

Directory name
The directory name can contain a maximum of 12 alphanumerical characters. When the mail system is consulted, the name appears on sets provided with a screen.

Connection COS ID
The connection COS authorizes or prohibits links between terminations and the voice mail service. The connection COS of the voice mail service must be compatible with those of the voice mail service users.

Public Network COS
COS for access to the public network assigned to external calls made by the external voice mail service. Each public network access COS determines incoming and outgoing authorizations and restrictions and set-trunk group compatibility according to installation status (night/day, etc.).

Entity No
This number enables a voice mail to be assigned to an entity (see ENTITY):
The entity notion (see ENTITY) makes it possible to differentiate several companies (or several services) in the same system. Each entity has its own users, attendants, trunk groups, automated attendant...and its own telephone services.

Cost center ID
The cost centre is used for charging tickets.
The cost center is to be chosen in according to the Cost center table (See COST CENTER).
Each set belongs to only one cost center.

Charging COS
Not justified : not included in the charging,
Justified: included in the charging for all criteria : Duration, Charging amount, Trunk group, Prefix.

URL UserName
User part of the URL used for direct access to the voice mail service. SIP identifies users by way of a URL composed of a user part and a domain part (user@domain). This URL is mandatory.

SIP Url Domain Remote
YES: the voice mail is situated in a remote SIP domain: it is not recorded in the call server registrar.

URL Domain
Domain part of the URL used for direct access to the voice mail service. SIP identifies users by way of a URL composed of a user part and a domain part (user@domain). This URL is mandatory.

SIP Authentication
Login used to control access to the external voice mail service on direct calls.

Password
Password used to control access to the external voice mail service on direct calls.

Record On Line Number
Directory number used to access the voice mail service in record mode. This number is dialed automatically when the 'Rec.' key is pressed on a set.

Record URL (username)
User part of the URL used for access to the voice mail service in record mode. SIP identifies users by way of a URL composed of a user part and a domain part (user@domain). This URL is mandatory.

ROL URL Domain Remote
YES: the voice mail is situated in a remote SIP domain: the voice mail is not recorded in the call server registrar.

Domain part of the URL used for access to the voice mail service in record mode. . SIP identifies users by way of a URL composed of a user part and a domain part (user@domain). This URL is mandatory.

Record Authentication
Login used to control access to the external voice mail service in record mode.
